At LP Construction Services, we recently completed a stunning interior fireplace remodel and full stone feature wall installation in Lakewood, Colorado, transforming an outdated brick fireplace into a modern, high-end focal point for this home.

This project began with a full demolition of the existing fireplace surround, including the removal of old brick and preparation of the area for a complete redesign. Our team carefully framed out the new structure, installed a modern fireplace insert, and applied cement board to create a durable foundation for the new finish.

We then installed a custom-cut natural stone veneer across the entire fireplace wall, wrapping the corners for a seamless, built-in look. Each stone was placed with precision to create a balanced, cohesive pattern that adds texture and warmth to the space. A custom hearth and solid wood mantel were also installed, providing both function and a beautiful design element. To complete the transformation, we mounted a TV above the fireplace, creating a clean and modern entertainment feature.
